Elevate

Elevate is the name of the weekly classes and small groups that we offer during Sunday school. They are designed to help you grow in your faith and develop skills to become healthier people in the body of Christ.

Small Groups: Classes designed by stages of life that people are in. These will be open groups that will be 12-18 months in lengths with the option to continue.

Be Courageous – Luke 14-24 | Young Adults ( Ages 23-35) | 10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11 | Location: Room 100
It takes courage to walk out our faith. And it takes courage to stand up for what we believe in—to set our standards on biblical truths, not cultural trends, and pursue a life defined by integrity and character. The study follows our Savior as He faced opposition, challenged critics and courageously chose to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Living Single | Singles (Ages 23+) | 10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11 | Location: Ministry Suites – Room 4

Many singles are often overlooked or marginalized in our Christian culture and churches, but this isn’t how God sees them. This six week study focuses on three vital principles for singles: How to wait on the Lord and his timing and direction, how to work for God and experience the satisfaction of fulfilling your personal calling in life, and what it means to be wedded in the Lord, whether that is through an eventual marriage or through your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Christian Life Series: Faith in Action | Adults (Ages 23+) |10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11 | Location: Room 105

This study leads the adult student to a deeper knowledge of Bible truths through a detailed lesson exposition. Each lesson also features sections dealing with practical points, research and discussion, questions, and a study of putting your faith into action.
Gospel of Luke 1-13 | Deaf ( Ages 16+) | 10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11  | Location: Ministry Suites – Room 5
The life and ministry of Christ were marked by His overwhelming compassion for people. And His heart is the same today. As believers, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, and extend His extravagant love to a broken world. Based on the book of Luke, this study examines the very heartbeat of our Savior and explores how Jesus connected with hurting people in an authentic and powerful way.

Hands-On Learning | Children (Grades PK –5th) | Weekly | June 3 – December 16 | Location: Room 106

Our class seeks to provide a safe, warm environment for children to interact with and explore some of our favorite stories from the Bible in new and meaningful ways including art, storytelling, snacks, and service.

A year with Jesus! | Middle School (Grades 6th – 8th) | Weekly | September 9 – December 16 | Location: Youth Sanctuary Classroom

Want to experience a changed life and a deeper faith in Christ as a 6-8 grade student? Growing in Christ starts with knowing who he is, and that’s the total focus of LIVE Year With Jesus! This character study will provide an in-depth look at the life of Jesus. They’ll discover who he is, what he did during his earthly ministry, the truths that he taught, and how teenagers can share the message of Jesus with their world today.

Inspirational Classes: Classes designed to inspire people to live better

Safe People | Ages 18+| 10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11 | Location: Ministry Suites – Room 2

This ten-week study will offer solid guidance for making safe choices in relationships, from friendships to romance. You will discover what makes some people relationally safe, and how to avoid unhealthy entanglements. Also, you will learn what to do and what not to do to develop a balanced, healthy approach to relationships.

Life Skills Classes: Classes designed to provide people with the skills to be healthy in marriage, parenting, finances, etc.

Marriage Tool Kit: Walk it Out, Work it! | 10 Weeks | September 9 – November 11 | Location: Room 102

This ten-week series is designed to help couples & individuals build and sustain a healthy and fulfilling marriage God’s Way. People will acquire practical, biblical tips, tools, and godly wisdom to enhance, and ignite the passion based on God’s blueprint. Over the ten-weeks, we will learn to Work it out, Talk it Out, Love It out, and more.

Bible Classes: Classes designed to assist people in learning more about the bible
